The procedure is performed under general anaesthesia. Post-operatively, a pulling or tightening sensation is normal for 3 to 5 days and is well managed with prescribed pain relief.

A true brachioplasty always involves an incision. Where laxity is minimal and fat excess is the primary concern, liposuction alone may improve contour without a long incision. Dr. Fathi will assess this option during your consultation.

Results are long-lasting provided weight remains stable. The excised skin does not grow back. Significant weight gain after surgery may cause residual tissues to loosen.

For international patients, Dr. Fathi generally recommends a minimum stay of 7 to 10 days in Agadir before flying. This allows for the first dressing change and post-operative assessment to be completed locally.
